Save Our Planet Plant a Tree
Purchase a tree which will be planted in Rancho Aroma. Trees and other plants absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) through photosynthesis. This phenomenon — whereby sunlight-fueled plants convert water and CO2 into sugar and oxygen — supports just about all life on Earth. Carbon is the fundamental building block of all life on Earth. Each tree, each blade of grass is about half carbon. The total carbon stored in all of the forests in the world together adds up to about 1 trillion tons—about 1.5 times the amount found in the atmosphere. Each tree we plant for you is added to other trees until an acre of trees is planted. One acre of trees removes 2.6 tons of carbon dioxide per year. Investing in trees helps improve our environment!

Biomimicry (from bios, meaning life, and mimesis, meaning to imitate) is a design discipline that seeks sustainable solutions by emulating nature’s time-tested patterns and strategies, e.g., a solar cell inspired by a leaf. The core idea is that Nature, imaginative by necessity, has already solved many of the problems we are grappling with: energy, food production, climate control, non-toxic chemistry, transportation, packaging, and a whole lot more.

Climate Neutral Products
Climate neutral products and materials produce zero net greenhouse gases throughout their entire life cycle.
Any offsets purchased for climate neutral purposes have to equal or exceed the amount of emissions the product produces. In addition, a recognized third party will need to certify them.
Climate neutral products range from clothing and sports events to cars and more. The certified company calculates vehicle emissions, and then offsets them using Green-e renewable energy certificates, among others.
Everything you do in daily life creates carbon emissions. Please, purchasing climate neutral products, green tags and carbon offsets can set you well on the way to helping the environment, as well as your green building project.
